In the year 2000, I started a series of paintings I dubbed "The Esoterics" - paintings which were rich in symbolism, both in subject and by virtue of colors chosen not only for their visual properties, but for their emotional properties as well. My goal is to explore, through subjective and abstract symbolisms, such as the use of color chords, and well as numeric symbolism and composition, how we interpret symbolic meaning in our natural and spiritual lives. It is my hope that these paintings will give the viewer opportunity to create their own interpretations, by way of their own experiences and philosophies.

My realist works are just as much about color theory as they are about the natural subject. Even commissions are created in such a way to emphasize my choice of colors, whether it be a complimentary pair, or a complicated color chord.
